KURITA MMACHINERY MFG always have been contributed to industrial development as leading-maker and also as originator of fully-automatic Filterpress since established over 80 years ago.
At first, Filterpress had been used in food industry, dyestuffs production and medical industry. Thereafter synthetic fiber had been spread in 20 century, KURITA Filterpress that work extremely precise on impurities removing, became necessary in producing process.
Then pollution problems have been become serious in the shadow of significant development of the heavy and chemical industries, Filterpress also have contributed to waste water disposal or water purification for providing safety water to drink. Ordinary, not so many people know Filterpress. But they support our life such as motorcars or electoric appliances daily we use, foodstuffs or drinking water daily we take, and still more, protection of earth environments always we live in. KURITA MACHINERY MFG, which developed the fully automatic FilterPress first in the world, took out patents not only in Japan but also in USA, UK, German and France.
And then, we had attracted a great deal of the world in exhibitions or competitions. Today, our technologies have been trusted in fields like water treatment or producing process in the world.

Company History

1930 Kintaro Kurita founded KURITA MACHINERY MFG for sale Filterpress and their attachments.
1953 Developed fully automatic Filterpres at first in the world. Patented in Japan, USA, German and France.
1958 Exhibited fully automatic Filterpress in Osaka international trade fair.
1966 Technical export to T. SCHREIBER USA .
1968 Technical export to NEWTON CHAMBER UK.
1971 Succeeded in significant improving on dewatering by developed MF-type fully automatic Filterpress.
1977 Developed UF-type fully automatic Filterpress.(filter cloth traveling, compression type)
1978 Started export to China. Since then, 100 of deliveries had took in each place in China. Recieved the order from Neyagawa-city Osaka at first as direct order by public agencies.
1983 Cooperated with SALA INTERNATIONAL Sweden.
Exported product to Burma
1984 Succeeded in international bid for sewage plant construction in Montreal city community.
1987 Received the order from Gose purification plant in Nara as all of a lump.
Developed FM type automatic Filterpress.
1989 Testuya Kurita former president got Award of the Chief of the Science and Technology Agency
