To be able to maintain its competitive edge resulting from long years of experience in innovative manufacturing, Kurita is committed to training and education for next generation. People working in private companies in Japan usually retire at the age of 60. In Kurita, certain people having retired at 60 are rehired and are working along with younger employees so that they can transfer their knowledge and skills to the next generation. To overseas Kurita group companies, highly skilled technicians selected from much experienced people in Kurita’s headquarters factory will be dispatched to transfer their knowledge and expertise. Also, students from nearby elementary schools and junior high schools are visiting Kurita for guided technical tour.
